Carlos Arruda
Carlos Arruda is a seasoned professional boasting a multifaceted career that spans various sectors including business development, academia, and engineering. Presently, he serves as a Partner at Ennouar Desenvolvimento Empresarial and as an associate consultant at the Cambridge Family Enterprise Group (CFEG) in São Paulo, Brazil, utilizing his vast knowledge and experience to foster business growth and innovation.
Arruda’s remarkable journey includes a notable tenure at Fundação Dom Cabral, where for 22 years, he held several pivotal roles such as Associate Dean of Business Partnerships and International Relations, and Director of the FDC Innovation Center. During this period, he spearheaded the Executive MBA Program and coordinated the Internationalization of Brazilian Enterprises Project, making significant contributions to the business education landscape in Brazil.
Apart from his involvement with the Fundação Dom Cabral, Arruda has embraced several leadership roles in various organizations, reflecting his versatility and expertise. He demonstrated his acumen as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at BioMinas Brasil from November 2014 to April 2022, where he played a crucial role in steering the organization’s strategies and policies. In the academic domain, Arruda is a well-educated professional with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MA in Business and Administration, both from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Further, he holds a PhD in International Business from the University of Bradford.
