Beatriz Daza
With more than 20 years of experience managing both private and government companies with emphasis on their entrepreneurship and innovation areas, Beatriz is the Director of MacondoLab, the Center for Entrepreneurial Growth and Innovation of Universidad Simón Bolívar, leading a multidisciplinary team of researchers specialized in technology-based entrepreneurship and business innovation.
As Director of Business Development at the Barranquilla Chamber of Commerce, she led the team that put the city in the top 5 of the entrepreneurship ecosystems in the country. Similarly, as advisor of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) to the Governor of Atlántico, she led the strategic planning of STI for the Atlantico State.
