Erila Haska is a distinguished management trainer and consultant with extensive experience across the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. She has played a pivotal role in developing the GIMI ecosystem in collaboration with universities, centers of excellence in green energy, and governments. Erila has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, driving sales, identifying growth areas, and building innovation strategies. She has mentored and co-instructed over 300 professionals in innovation management, trained more than 100 startups, and instructed over 1,000 students in strategic management and decision-making over six years.
Erila has managed socio-economic programs and granting schemes with budgets up to 3 million euros funded by the EU and other donors. She is the co-author of one book and 14 research papers on topics such as youth and social entrepreneurship, financial mechanisms for NGOs and social enterprises, and crowdfunding. She has received executive education from Stanford University Graduate Business Schools and MIT and holds a Master of Science and Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Tirana. Her certifications include innovation management, management consulting, and social impact analysis.
As the leader of the GIMI Think Tank, a network of over 200 global innovative experts, Erila has co-designed capability-building programs for 2,000 leaders in Brazil and 3,000 students in Canada. She co-designed an assessment tool to evaluate the innovation potential of employees across organizations and led service mapping and hackathon initiatives for the Qatar government. Additionally, she has built a regional ecosystem connecting startups, consultants, and investors in the Western Balkans.
