Mr. Hassan Abdulrahman Al Ibrahim possesses expertise in public policy, strategy, investment and commercialization, and non-profit organizations. Presently, he serves as the Executive Director of Government Development at the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CB) in Qatar. In this capacity, his responsibilities include spearheading initiatives to modernize government services. He leads the development and implementation of the government service strategy, focuses on improving the citizen experience with government services, fosters an innovative culture within the government sector, and recently launched Shark, a program aimed at unifying the citizen experience.
Throughout his career in the public sector, Hassan has played a key role in overseeing the activities of the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA). This encompassed tasks such as planning, regulation, product development, investment promotion, and destination marketing. During his tenure as the chairman of the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), Hassan Al-Ibrahim played a crucial role in devising and executing the Qatar National Tourism Strategy 2030. This strategic framework led to the establishment of the Qatar Tourism Council, along with three commercial entities. Among these entities was the Qatar Business Events Company, responsible for managing the operations of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
Moreover, Mr. Al-Ibrahim is an active board member of the Caravane Earth Foundation, which concentrates on holistic approaches to agriculture, architecture, and community development.
In addition to his involvement with the Caravane Earth Foundation, Hassan serves on the board of an investment fund and was a member of multiple educational institutions and sports federations. His educational background includes a BEg in Computer Engineering, a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Manchester, an EMBA from HEC Paris, and he is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration from the Warwick Business School.
