Hitendra is the founder and managing partner of global innovation management institute (GIMI) and IXL Center. 

He has helped more than 200 Fortune 1000 companies as well governments identify their next strategic growth area and pipelines and build their innovation management capability

Hitendra was a senior leader and co-founder of Monitor Group’s Innovation Practice and was responsible for Asia, Latin America and the Middle East

Prior to Monitor, he was an innovation principal at Arthur D. Little

He has taught 500 students around the world and has delivered hundreds of speeches on innovation

Hitendra has also helped and published articles at the national and region level on the topic of economic development in Brazil, India, Indonesia, Singapore, US and the UK.

Prior to consulting, Hitendra worked at Motorola and worked on lithium-ion batteries, satellite phones and has six patents.

Hitendra is the co-author of 101 Innovation Breakthroughs, The State of Innovation in Singapore, Greenovate!
Connectivate! and Healthovate!, Thinking and Acting Differently to Make Innovation Real and GameChangers

He has a PHD in Materials Science and Engineering from lowa State University, an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a BSEE from Washington University in St. Louis
