Horacio Pinzón

Horacio Pinzón has over 10 years of experience in the energy transition industry, with a primary focus on energy sources for the oil and gas sector. Currently, he leads the new Business Development Area at Ecopetrol, a $32 billion company in Colombia, specializing in hydrogen mobility and natural gas blending. Pinzón has spearheaded three out of seven hydrogen projects in Colombia, showcasing promising results and potential in various locations and geographies. Additionally, he holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering and has written numerous articles and research papers on energy transition, oil, and gas initiatives.
