I am an experienced innovation manager with a broad background in product development, team leadership, cultural change and knowledge management.
In the year 2000, an aerospace product for which I had been the design leader was recognised as runner-up in the Royal Academy of Engineering’s MacRobert Award for innovation.
I became intensely curious about what it was we had done that caused this innovation to take place, and how I could make it happen more frequently, predictably and rapidly.
This curiosity led to me becoming the leader of the innovation theme of a major cultural transformation programme at Bombardier Aerospace, a role which involved successfully designing, deploying and embedding an innovation management ecosystem, and which I then repeated as Innovation Manager at Swisslog.
Today I am Group Director IP Strategy & Portfolio at Volvo Group where I bring together my experience both as an innovator, innovation catalyst and IP strategy specialist to help Volvo Group transform towards a fossil-free future.
